Seedlings are growing

Well the seedlings are continuing to germinate and grow. Amazing how they can bend their neck and get the 2 first leaves out of the soil.

Well the seeds continue to germinate and grow. Wow! I am amazed at the fact that so far one population is showing 100% germination. The second population is just peeking out so hope they do as well. Planted some old seed from the Japanese collect so we will see how it does. I am trying some new ideas for germinating in Jiffy pellets. I bought some 8.75 X 14 X 1.75 Styrofoam trays and you can get 28 pellets in each tray. You can use a second tray as a cover if you want to keep them moist for the first while.

Well these little guys are coming steadily now. Interesting to see if I get 100 % germination.

First baby pokes it's head out

Well here is the first seedling from seed collected off of Blue Velvet. Pretty tiny but glad to see it.
Hopefully there will be more soon.

Haskap is on the way

Well things are slow in the middle of winter so not much information to be posted here. Seeds I planted have not sprouted yet so we wait patiently. I will try to post some new information here in the next couple of weeks and also add some links to go to for information.
